Aaron has more than a decade of experience working with runners and cyclist in the Sutherland Shire and has done numerous further education towards professional development. He has a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and a Batchelor degree in Exercise Physiology both from Sydney University. His area’s of interest are in acute sporting injuries but also athlete performance.

Aaron combines his passions for human biomechanics and exercise physiology with his treatment as a Physiotherapist. He is dedicated to ensuring that the clinical setting is equipped to give the greatest benefit to all patients at Aevum and the treatment protocols followed by clinical staff are informed by the latest scientific research.

Beth is a practicing physiotherapist in the Sutherland Shire and accredited exercise physiologist with a masters in Sports Science and over twelve years fulfilling health, exercise and fitness roles. Whilst completing her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra Beth received the Dux Award and was also recognised for Academic Excellence. Beth received an award for Professional Excellence from the Australian Physiotherapy Association – Neurological Award. Awards for Professional excellence are administered by the APA, the peak body for physiotherapists to celebrate the commitment and outstanding achievements of its members.

During her career Beth has provided treatment to Professional athletes including the Brumbies, Canberra Raiders and Canberra United W League players.

Utilising her exercise physiology background and knowledge of exercise science, Beth has a passion for assessing and treating presenting clients in a holistic manner. Her Masters studies in physiotherapy complement and enhance her proficiency in exercise physiology and exercise science.

Sean graduated Sydney University with first class honours and has a particular interest in running injury management and biomechanics. He has extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and this is backed by his continued focus on the latest research to guide his decisions as a Physiotherapist assisting his patients recovery. Using aevum’s AlterG antigravity treadmill he aims to get his patients back to running/sports as soon as possible with the greatest outcomes post injury/surgery.

Ryan completed a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science at the university of Wollongong and a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Ryan is passionate about working along side patients and understanding the person as well as the injury to provide optimal patient centred care and achieve the best possible outcome. 

When it comes to sports Ryan is the ultimate competitor and understands the difficulties of missing time playing sport through sustaining injuries. His favourite sports are basketball, soccer, surfing and snowboarding. Ryan played a high level of soccer through his youth as well as captaining the University of Wollongong soccer team at the Australian Uni Games. He has also travelled the world in search of good waves and snow capped mountains

Matt is an experienced Chiropractor, graduating in 2008 and working full time around the Sutherland Shire ever since. Matt also has a TAE and has had experience teaching at TAFE, doing OHS assessments in workplaces nationally, and running manual handling courses for groups in all types of industries.

Matt has most recently studied a Grad Dip in Animal Biomechanical Medicine, putting him in a unique position to use his chiropractic skills and apply them to the animal world in a way that no other professional can. Matt additionally is a founding partner, and works at the Animal Rehab Klinik , which is a practice exclusively for Animals, specifically designed to provide the best biomechanical care that exists for animals, to reduce pain, heal injury and improve quality of life.

josiah sherwen - exercise physiologist

Josiah works in the Aevum performance lab, performing VO2 max testing, lactate threshold testing. His focus at Aevum is to work on strength and conditioning programs in order to get our patients back to full capacity. He also works with a lot of our NDIS participants and conducts our Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs.

Josiah also plays football in the Illawarra Premier League.
